香港民意研究所（香港民研）已於七月開始發放第二代民情指數，務求以單一數字代表香港市 民對香港社會的情緒反應。除了代表全體市民的整體數字外，香港民研早前已發表按市民政治 陣營和社會階層劃分成不同群組的分析，以深入了解不同人士的情緒起跌。在未來數個月，香 港民研會定期及頻密地（暫定以 12 周為一個循環）發放類似的民情指數人口變項分析，以及 針對特定意見組群的深入分析，以展示二次數據分析的力量和價值
The Hong Kong Public Opinion Research Institute (HKPORI) started to release its Public Sentiment Index v2.0 (PSI v2.0) in July, using a single figure to represent the overall sentiment of society. Apart from the overall figures representing Hong Kong people, HKPORI has also released analyses per political camps and social strata to better understand the ups and downs of different people’s sentiments. In the coming months, HKPORI will release similar demographic analyses of PSI more regularly and frequently (tentatively set at a cycle of 12 weeks), together with in-depth analyses of people with different views, to demonstrate the power and value of secondary data analysis.
